Saturday November 8th 2014
St Vincent’s University Hospital, Dublin
The 2014 Annual NET Patient Day was another great success with a huge attendance by NET patients, many accompanied by their family and friends, who travelled from all around the country to participate. As always, there was a great mixture of both newly diagnosed patients and long-term patients, with everyone contributing to make the day our most successful yet.
As a small group of patients with a rare disease, we benefit greatly from the dedication and commitment of our health carers. This year we held the event in St. Vincent’s University Hospital in recognition of it as the National Centre for NETs. Our thanks go to the medical specialists from around Ireland who attended our event and especially to Dr Dan Granberg and Mrs Riselda Granberg from Uppsala University Hospital in Sweden.
Here are some photos from the day (149 photos in all):

We had some great presentations by our guest speakers:

In the afternoon, we broke into parallel information sessions. Here are some edited video clips from these different sessions:
The video from Terminology & Diagnostics will be added soon.
Many thanks to our sponsors Novartis, Ipsen and Pfizer who made this event possible
