NET Patient Day 2024 is Saturday November 16, in Galway.
The meeting will be held in the Clayton Hotel on the east side of Galway city, providing easy access for people travelling from the north, south and east of the country.
We hope to see you at the Clayton to enjoy each other’s company on the evening of Friday 15 November at the NET Dinner and then to be ready for the events of the following day Saturday 16th November at our formal NET Patient Day.
We are already a group of people who care about each other, and the annual face-to-face meeting is a wonderful opportunity to meet, socialise and support each other while hearing about the latest developments that affect us all.

EVENT FORMAT
Friday 15 November 2024 Patient evening get together and dinner.
This is a social evening for patients, their partners, family members or carers.
Saturday 16 November 2024 NET Patient Day, starting at 9.00 a.m. followed by lunch.
The NET Patient Day Agenda will be shared closer to the time.
THE COST
Our NET Patient Network (NPN) is contributing to the room charge to make it as affordable for our members.
The NPN is also hosting the cost of the dinners and lunches on Friday and Saturday.
This is all in the hope that as many patients as possible can attend on Friday and then stay the night to be ready for the next day’s events.
Should you decide to arrive the night before and need to book a hotel room, the NPN will subsidise rooms at €50 per room single or double. That means the rate you will pay is €109 for a double B&B and €95 for a single room B&B.

Once you decide you can attend, please email [email protected] with the numbers of attendees for dinner on Friday night & lunch on Saturday.
Then book your hotel room, if needed, as the rooms are limited.
Please note that the funds used to subsidise this event do not come from any charity events.
FORMAL PATIENT DAY
On Saturday you will be able to hear about the inspiring and uplifting developments in NET care that affect all of us.
There have been huge improvements in NET patient care since our organisation was founded twelve years ago.
Previous presentations at our NET Patient Day have ranged across topics such as new treatments, dietary considerations, travel realities for treatment abroad, how to take Creon properly and much more.
The talks and question and answer session has always been very helpful and very good. We expect this year to be an excellent event and we very much hope to see you there.
